At Siemens Healthineers Llanberis, situated at the foot of Snowdon in North Wales, we are the sole manufacturer of IMMULITE reagents, used in blood analysers to aid the diagnoses and treatment for patients. IMMULITE is a global brand in the Diagnostics industry, distributing over 950 IMMULITE products for 100 disease states and 570 allergy tests. All these products are manufactured at our Siemens Healthineers facility in Llanberis and shipped to our European and American Distribution Centres for onward distribution to labs and clinics in over 50 countries worldwide.
Apply now for the position of Data Anaylst Intern Placement (12 months) and you will be an important contributor to our project of digital transformation. We are working on revolutionising our manufacturing operations with Industry 4.0 standards of connectivity and automation, and digitalising existing business processes while empowering our end users with data collection and analytics tools. This 12 month Intern Placement is based at our site in Llanberis, North Wales, and will be starting in Summer 2026. It will provide you with the opportunity to support digitalisation projects, develop solutions and a chance to make a meaningful contribution to our business excellence team. We are looking for students who want to take on real responsibility and make the most of their Internship.
Your role:
- You will provide valuable input to innovative projects across the business which have a real impact on our future
- You will learn to use Microsoft 365 technologies such as PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI and utilise them in improving business processes
- You will potentially work with SQL Server and programming languages such as Python for more complex data aggregation and analysis
- You will help manage and track project requirements and actions with our Digital Project Managers
- You will support our transformation into a digital business in a myriad of other ways
This role is a hybrid role, with approx. 3 days per week site based in Llanberis and the other days working from home.
About you:
- You will be an undergraduate student currently studying a towards a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related subject either looking for a Summer internship or a 12 month placement
- You will need to be an excellent user of Microsoft Office 365 software
- Some prior experience with data analysis/visualisation tools would be an advantage
- You should have a flexible working approach, be self-motivated and have good time management skills
- You should have experience of working in a team
- You will need exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- You should have an enthusiasm and interest in working in the healthcare industry
You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship, starting in Summer 2026 and valid until at least the end of August 2027 (to cover 12 month internship duration).
