Working Student (f/m/d) for Python or R/Shiny applications
Mode of Employment: Limited, max. 20h/week
As a working student at Siemens, you have the opportunity to actively contribute in various areas and fully apply your skills.
You'll make an impact by
- You support our team in developing applications using R/Shiny or Python, contributing your programming skills to ongoing projects
- In the next step, you assist with data analysis tasks, helping to prepare, process and interpret datasets for various use cases
- Additionally, you write clear and structured documentation for our applications, ensuring that all features and processes are well described
- To round off your responsibilities, you test the developed applications together with the team and provide feedback for further improvements
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience and Skills:
- You have practical experience with containers and code repositories (e.g., GitHub)
- Solid skills in programming with Python and/or R, ideally including Shiny
- Strong interest in developing and testing applications for data analysis
- Ways of Working: You work independently, show initiative, and enjoy collaborating in a team environment
- Languages: Very good English language skills
