We are looking for Quality Assurance Specialist / Engineer

You’ll make a difference by

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) production and assembly processes. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and improving quality systems, conducting inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and implement quality control plans for PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of PCBs and assemblies to identify soldering defects, component misplacements, and other anomalies.
  • Ensure compliance with IPC standards (IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, etc.), other relevant standards and customer specifications.
  • Performing inspection at supplier & project site premises as applicable.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and root causes of defects.
  • Collaborate with production teams & other stakeholders to implement actions to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen.
  • : Maintain accurate process documents, quality records, inspection reports, and audit findings and report the status to Management.
  • Monitor, Analyze and present quality performance metrics to management.
  • Document and report non-conformances, initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Evaluate incoming materials and components for compliance.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve material standards.
  • Support vendor development & vendor quality assurance.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 22163, RoHS, IPC and other relevant quality standards.
  • Ensure ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and other safety protocols are followed during inspection and handling.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in PCB production and assembly quality assurance.
  • Certifications in IPC (preferred).
  • Experience with PCB inspection techniques.
  • Certification in ISO 9001, ISO 22163, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies (preferred).
  • Proficient in data analysis, root cause analysis, and quality reporting.
  • Experience in complaint handling from supplier
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
