We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Brightly team in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

• Building and designing cloud native processes, infrastructure, and architecture.
• Embracing cloud services and promoting their adoption with the other development teams.
• Create processes and automation to address problems and inefficiencies that are reusable, traceable, and have broad application within the scope of the requirements.
• Build and document solutions that reflect the DevOps mantra of repeatable, maintainable, and scalable.
• Build portfolio-wide solution across the entire DSI ecosystem to address platform needs.
• Creating modern scalable and flexible CI/CD process that enforce standards using modern tools to create and update infrastructure, applications, micro services, and serverless.
• Guiding product development teams in architectural decisions.
• Treating infrastructure and processes as code.
• Provide peer-review and guidance to other team members’ code and documentation.
• Interacts with DevOps' customers regularly, translating needs into requirements, communicating status, and sets expectations effectively.
• Promote productive dialogue among the entire team.
• Identify potential problems and solutions, research, and educate the team.
• Embrace company goals and metrics, execute on initiatives.
• Challenge yourself and team to stay current with latest technology trends.
• Collaborate in product lifecycle with senior engineers, development managers, product managers, scrum-masters in an agile environment, with scrum implemented at scale globally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience in relevant roles.
• Strong understanding of architectural design patterns across software and cloud infrastructure/services.
• Proven experience with cloud technologies, administration, automation, and deployment practices.
• Proficiency in databases, SQL, programming and scripting, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD, coding/scripting and cloud administration.
• Strong DevOps mindset with expertise in mature CI/CD and SDLC environments, including exception handling, logging, monitoring, performance measurement, and operational metrics.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, teamwork, and leadership skills.
