  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, maintaining strong working relationships and professional representation at customer sites.
  • Report to the Outstation Supervisor each shift to align expectations and responsibilities.
  • Support the performance team with incident investigations, delay attribution, and root cause analysis, ensuring safety-related issues are closed out effectively.
  • Control and manage fleet data downloads, ensuring accurate reporting and IT system updates for operational safety incidents and service defects.
  • Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams, including planning scheduled and unscheduled depot maintenance requirements.
  • Implement HSQE policies, promote health and safety awareness, and ensure compliance with safe systems and controls.

Your success will be grounded by...

  • HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Complete records of actions and operations accurately and to procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of IT systems / software
  • Good communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Detailed knowledge of technical aspects of the rolling stock allocated to the depot (preferred)
