Your Mission
As the General Manager, you will embody an entrepreneurial mindset, taking full ownership of APT’s business in China. Your mission is to lead all customer relationship management (CRM) functions—including sales, product management, R&D, and customer service—inspiring your team to drive profitable growth and strengthen APT’s leadership in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- P&L Management: Take full responsibility for the profit and loss performance of APT, ensuring strong financial health and sustainable growth as a key branch of Siemens EP China.
- Strategic Direction: Define and communicate a compelling vision and strategic roadmap, set clear KPIs, and empower a high-performing team to achieve ambitious goals.
- Business Alignment: Ensure APT’s strategies align seamlessly with Siemens EP China’s objectives, delivering consistent and measurable results.
- Financial Oversight: Work closely with commercial leaders to manage budgets, optimize resources, and protect business profitability.
- Growth Initiatives: Lead and monitor key business development programs to drive expansion across vertical markets and regions.
- Risk & Compliance: Establish and enforce policies to mitigate risks and ensure full compliance with Siemens regulations and standards.
- Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point for critical challenges, providing decisive solutions and guidance.
- Team Development: Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and developing the APT team, encouraging continuous learning and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent APT professionally to government entities, key customers, and suppliers, building strong relationships and enhancing the company’s reputation.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive business development experience in a multinational corporation, with exposure to diverse business models.
- At least 8 years of leadership experience in business and people management within an international environment.
- Deep expertise in the automation and industrial markets, particularly in industrial control components.
