Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking a qualified candidate for a permanent position to provide both Project Management oversight and technical work performance for Preventative Maintenance (PM) on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) work in support of a long term and progressive government customer in Honolulu Hawaii.
We are seeking a team-oriented individual to lead and work alongside a qualified team of technicians. The candidate must possess training and experience in providing service for various types of HVAC/R equipment and systems and to perform maintenance, minor repairs and calibration on heating and air conditioning control devices.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working and supplying general supervision and will be responsible for the team completing work in a timely fashion to meet the perimeters of a work schedule. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority while maintaining or exceeding corporate expected profit margins.
 Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking a highly qualified Lead HVAC/R Technician for a permanent position supporting a long-term, government customer in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities to manage a company technical team and subcontractors, including oversight of Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities on a wide range of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) systems and interfacing with the customer and government delivering contractual reports and maintaining work schedules.
We are looking for a team-focused individual who can effectively lead, mentor, and work alongside a skilled group of technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong training and experience servicing, maintaining, and performing minor repairs and calibrations on various HVAC/R equipment and control systems.

This position requires someone who is comfortable providing day-to-day supervision while performing technical tasks when required. The Lead Technician will ensure the team completes all work safely, efficiently, and within project schedules. Success in this role requires a commitment to customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort, while also supporting the company’s operational and financial goals.

Administrative Responsibilities
•Paperwork including checklists, schedules, and other contractual obligations required by contract
•Accountably for contract costs to contract controllers
•Financial Reporting internally inside SGT
•Main onsite customer contact
•Government reports submitted to RMS
•Timesheets, manpower schedules, safety Reporting
•Responsible for the Quality of work being performed
•Profit Expectations of SGT

Responsibilities
•Perform manufactures preventative maintenance service on the HVAC/R equipment, including but not limited to:
      o AHU’s, FCU’s, split and mini split units, supply and exhaust fans, ice machines, VAV’s, walk-in refrigeration and freezers, condensers pumps, valves, motors, cooling towers, air compressors, and all auxiliary   equipment.
•Recycle and charge refrigerants as required. Inspect and test refrigeration systems, safety devices, and control for efficiency of operation and compliance with safety practice and regulations. Cleans coils and other parts, oils fans, changes filters, adjusts air flow and replaces gas or fluid in system.
•Replace filters, belts and other parts as needed or specified by manufacturer or by contract. Repair and adjust pneumatic controls lines and fittings, lubricate and oil equipment according to manufactures specification and industry standards.
•Experience troubleshooting HVAC/R equipment
•Observes operation sequence of refrigeration system and makes necessary adjustments to control level of fluid, pressure, or temperature.
•Determines parts and equipment needed for maintenance and repair work.
•Read and interpret schematics, shop drawing and technical manuals.
•Maintains record of inspections and work perform.
•Makes adjustments to building HVAC/R systems using a computerized Building Automation System (BAS)
•Perform root cause analysis and strive for continuous improvement, making recommendations to customer
•May be required to assist in facility emergencies 
•1 to 2 days of shift-rotation work monthly

Requirements:
•High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school  
•Minimum of three (5) years’ experience in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration
•Experience and training in the basics of either in technical school or certifications received during training classes from industry vendors is preferred
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, drawings and technical descriptions.
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
•Interpersonal skills; telephone skills; problem solving skills; attention to detail; organization skills; accuracy; time management.
•Working knowledge of boiler and Chiller systems 

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
•HVAC Certified
•OSHA 10/OSHA 30 certification
•Fall Protection certification
•Confined space certification 
•Ability to use and understand numerous types of electrical testing equipment
•Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines
•Experience working in a hospitality setting

Security Clearance:
•Candidate must be US citizen and have the ability to obtain and/or maintain a US federal agency security clearance.

The pay range for this position is $102,102.00 - $137,802.00 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
