Then come and join our global team as Team Lead (f/m/d) Financial & Operational Audit focusing on Quality and Regulatory Compliance and define and implement audit programs and methods to effectively address risks at Siemens Healthineers.


Internal Audit helps to improve the overall success of Siemens Healthineers operations and processes and provides independent, factual, unbiased assurance to the Managing Board and Audit Committee. As a business partner to Siemens Healthineers executive management, we leverage our expertise in a wide range of topics in order to create impact that drives change with improved results. You will work on different assurance engagements for various internal clients globally. By integrating digitalization strategies and engaging with the latest technological developments, you contribute to the development of innovative audit approaches.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will lead a team of up to five US-based employees, using strong leadership skills to coach and support their professional development.
  • You will represent the audit department within the company as an independent and trusted partner for the management.
  • You will work with internal data, risk processes, and external trend analyses to identify and evaluate significant business risks, providing key input into the annual global audit plan.
  • You will implement the overall Audit strategy, Audit policies and processes.
  • You will coordinate, plan and execute multiple assigned global audit topics mainly for Quality and Regulatory Compliance and Operational audits to effectively address business challenges and risk areas identified in the audit plan.
  • Partnering with your team and cross-functional colleagues, you will lead global projects, advance innovation, and uphold the highest standards in audit outcomes.
  • You will create concise Audit Reports on local and global level and perform quality reviews of relevant audit workpapers, results and reports.
  • You will liaise continuously with involved Audit Professionals and Audit Engagement Leaders as well as with local and business management.
  • You will identify, develop and promote digital use cases (e.g., data analytics, AI, process mining) to increase audit coverage, assurance and efficiency.
  • You will prepare and lead meetings with management to present audit results and align measures to improve business processes.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have successfully completed a university degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences or a comparable subject.
  • You have several years of practical experience within the MedTech industry, with a strong background in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance, or System/Process Engineering (e.g., design controls, purchasing and production process controls, risk management, etc.).
  • You have several years of leadership experience, ideally managing and developing international or cross-functional teams.
  • You possess strong knowledge of the regulatory and quality landscape for medical devices and other regulated technologies, and can navigate standards and requirements in a practical, risk-based manner.
  • You have practical experience planning, leading, and executing audits in a regulated environment.
  • You demonstrate strong project management skills and the ability to drive complex initiatives in a global environment.
  • You bring a strong digital mindset and you are proficient in using modern technologies (e.g., generative AI, advanced analytics, automation) and data-driven methods to support decision-making, and drive organizational performance.


Your attributes and skills:

  • You communicate confidently and clearly in English (business fluent); additional language skills, such as German, are an advantage.
  • You develop and empower your team, foster collaboration, and support individual growth and performance.
  • You create compelling and structured presentations for senior stakeholders and communicate insights in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
  • You are skilled in adapting messages for executive audiences and facilitating management discussions with confidence.
  • You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g. Healthineers Performance System (HPS) / Six sigma methods) and you are able to structure complex information in a logical, transparent way.
  • You are committed to continuous learning and actively contribute new ideas and approaches that benefit your team and the wider organization.
  • You are willing to travel internationally (up to 30%) to conduct and support audits.
