We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator I. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
Shift Hours: 6:00AM- 2:30PM
Hourly Rate: $23.36
You’ll make an impact by:
- Contacting customers for additional shipping info
- Creating shipping BOL’s, Proforma’s for International Shipments and other documents using SAP
- Coding freight for payment in our Freight Billing system
- Safely operating a stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and sit-down forklift in high traffic areas and narrow aisles
- Responsible for the accurate receipt of goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, inspects condition, and files damage claims with carriers.
- Recording received items according to established procedures.
- Maintaining and managing inventory.
- Must adhere to all safety rules, developed processes, and keep safety first for self and others.
- Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience with shipping or receiving responsibilities in a Manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP system
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 3+ years’ experience in shipping/receiving management
- 3+ years’ experience driving a forklift
- Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Technical training in area of responsibility
- Must have the ability to work independently with little guidance
- Must be able to perform job duties safely with a sense of urgency
- Must have great attention to detail while working to a deadline
- Must have a positive attitude, work well with others, and implement constructive criticism.

The pay range for this position is $23.36 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
