Sales Specialist connectivity and IT/OT integration
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Conectivity and IT/OT integration Sales Specialist with experience in IT/OT integration, industrial automation, and digitalization. This role requires a strategic, consultative sales mindset and the ability to drive business opportunities from prospecting to final negotiation. The ideal candidate is a hunter with strong technical understanding and a passion for enabling industrial digital transformation.
Required Profile
Education
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields, or a closely related discipline:
Automation & Control Background (Automation Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering)
IT / Digital / Software Background (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering,Network and Communications Engineering)
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience in:
- IT/OT integration projects
- Industrial automation and digitalization
- Technical sales or consultative sales environments
Technical Knowledge
- Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Ability to identify and develop new prospects for IT/OT integration and industrial communication solutions
- Bi-weekly reporting of sales activities
- Hunter profile with strong consultative sales approach
- Full sales cycle: from initial diagnosis to closing
- Industrial networks (e.g., PROFINET, OPC UA)
- SCADA, PLC, MES, ERP systems
- OT cybersecurity; ISA/IEC 62443 certification preferred
