Job Title: Service Team Leader – Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire & Security

You’ll make a difference by:
Leading and developing the service team – Managing, mentoring, and supporting a multidisciplinary team of service engineers, including technical escalation, coaching, and capability development.
Overseeing service delivery across sites – Planning resources, scheduling workloads, and coordinating activities to ensure timely, high-quality service across multiple customer locations.
Providing hands-on technical leadership – Leading fault diagnosis, maintenance, optimization, and commissioning activities across BMS, fire detection, and electronic security systems.
Acting as the customer’s technical point of contact – Building strong client relationships by providing clear communication, service updates, expert advice, and proactive system improvement recommendations.
Ensuring safety, quality, and compliance – Maintaining compliance with health, safety, security, environmental, and regulatory standards while upholding professional service quality on all sites.
Driving continuous improvement and system performance – Identifying and delivering efficiency, reliability, and energy performance improvements through system optimization and upgrade recommendations.

Your defining qualities:
Strong engineering background – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Building Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
Proven leadership experience – 5–10 years’ experience in BMS, fire, or security systems, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
• Advanced technical expertise – Hands-on experience maintaining, commissioning, and optimising building management, fire protection, and electronic security systems.
Ability to manage complex technical issues – Confident diagnosing system faults, leading technical solutions, and supporting escalations across multiple technologies.
• Clear communicator and customer-focused leader – Able to engage effectively with customers, engineers, and internal stakeholders while maintaining service excellence.
Organised and compliance-focused – Strong planning, documentation, and prioritisation skills with a solid understanding of safety and regulatory requirements.
