We are looking for Plant Maintenance Mechanical Engineer

You’ll make a difference by

We are currently looking for a Plant Maintenance Mechanical Engineer, at our project site at Dahod (Gujarat). Plant Maintenance Mechanical Engineer will report to Plant Maintenance Manager - Dahod.

  • Carry out diagnosis of faults, maintenance and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner and return equipment to operational service.
  • Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.
  • Report breakdown, find out root causes, equipment faults and concerns to management.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is undertaken in a high-quality and adheres to all quality standards
  • Identify and prepare critical spares requirements and log usage.
  • Log completion of work on all required maintenance management systems
  • Work within 5S, methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard.
  •  Ensure all required PPE’s are identified, always available, correctly used and all associated problems are reported to management.
  •  Undertake continuous training and development.
  •  Understand pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical drawing and schematics & willingness to work overtime.
  • Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out,
  • Audit and ensure compliance of the ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 (EHS systems).
  • Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime.
  •  Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management.
  •  Optimize equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
  • Ensure that designated buildings, plants and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required.
  • Develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
  • Produce written reports and make presentations.
  •  Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities within the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise to the team.
  •  Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility.
  •  Ensure KPIs are met by working to the plan, including management of, and reporting.
  • Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
  •  Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
  •  Perform additional duties as necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Hands on experience for working on maintenance of industrial utilities, MHE and rolling stock manufacturing equipment's, like EOT crane, Loco shunter, Lifting Jacks, Paint booth, shot blasting, welding machine.

Desired Skills:

  • You should be minimum experience of 5-7 years along with bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical).
  • Past experience in factory maintenance of utilities, tools & machineries
  • Should be proficient in English and Hindi
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Rolling Stock experience is preferred.
