Position Overview
The Contact Development Intern supports the Demand Development team by assisting in discovering and validating contact information, helping build buying group intelligence, and supporting marketing and revenue development activities. This role is foundational to generating high-quality opportunities by ensuring data accuracy, validating target personas, and helping identify buying group members within accounts.
Responsibilities
Contact Discovery & Validation
Support research to validate contact information and confirm a person’s role within a buying group.
Use contact databases, social media, and web research to identify new contacts.
Assist with logging and tracking validated contacts in Salesforce and internal systems.
Account & Buying Group Intelligence
Help build and update account maps and buying group structures.
Identify target personas involved in purchase decisions.
Provide weekly summaries of validated contacts and buying group progress.
Marketing & Event Support
Support marketing programs and events by helping drive registration and follow-up.
Assist in ensuring accurate alignment between campaigns, accounts, and opportunities.
Collaboration & Reporting
Partner with CDRs, RDRs, and marketing teams on handoffs and process alignment.
Follow service-level agreements (SLAs) supporting demand management workflows.
Track research and discovery activities within Salesforce and related tools.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Interest in marketing, sales, data research, or revenue operations.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to navigate multiple tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education. In addition, this position is eligible for time off in accordance with Company policies, including paid sick leave and paid volunteer time off.
The hourly pay range for this position is 18-50 per hour for first time Interns or 18-50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
