You'll ensure that technical solutions are functionally and operationally adequate, meeting all associated requirements. This role bridges engineering excellence and field reality, leading teams, coordinating complex activities, and delivering the assurance that keeps railways running safely and reliably.

Challenges that await

  • Test & Commissioning Leadership: Define and plan comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies for different subsystems and integrated signaling systems. Execute field tests of various subsystems, ensuring all technical solutions meet functional and operational requirements. • Team Leadership & Training: Lead and support local Test & Commissioning teams on international projects when required. Provide professional training and development to field teams, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to execute activities successfully. Deliver maintenance and operation courses to customers in collaboration with Center of Competence specialists, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and best practice sharing.
  • Project Support & Coordination: Support Project Execution teams with engineering expertise during critical field activities. Coordinate between engineering, project management, and customer stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project schedules, milestones, and quality standards. Communicate test results, commissioning status, and any issues or risks to project leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement in Test & Commissioning activities. Ensure compliance with CENELEC standards and V-life Cycle models throughout all phases. Document lessons learned and best practices for knowledge sharing across projects, driving innovation in testing methodologies and commissioning approaches.
