We are looking for: Senior Test Engineer (Full Stack - Senior Test Automation Engineer)

You’ll make an impact by:

·       Design and Develop Test Automation Frameworks: Lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive test automation framework from scratch, primarily utilizing Playwright for our new JavaScript-based frontend.

·       Test Script Development: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing across our frontend and backend systems.

·       CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines (Git-based) to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback loops.

·       API Testing: Develop and execute automated API tests to ensure the robustness and correctness of our backend services.

·       Backend System Understanding: Collaborate with backend developers to understand the architecture and functionality of our WinCC OA backend, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

·       Strategy and Best Practices: Define and promote test automation best practices, coding standards, and quality metrics within the team.

·       Troubleshooting and Reporting: Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Generate clear and concise test reports.

·       Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and foster a culture of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

·       Tooling and Technology Evaluation: Know the latest             with industry trends and evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance our testing capabilities.

Use your skills to move the world forward!

·       Bachelor or master’s degree in Power Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.

·       5 – 7 years of experience in projects.

·       Extensive Test Automation Experience: Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing robust test automation frameworks from the ground up.

·       Playwright Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end web application testing.

·       JavaScript/TypeScript Proficiency: Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript, essential for our new frontend and Playwright framework.

·       CI/CD Pipelines: Solid experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, specifically with Git-based systems (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins with Git).

·       API Testing Tools: Proficiency with tools and frameworks for API testing (e.g., Postman, Newman, Rest Assured, or similar).

·       Backend Knowledge (WinCC OA): Familiarity with or a strong willingness to learn and understand SCADA systems, particularly WinCC OA, for backend testing considerations.

·       Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

·       Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.

·       Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

·       Nice-to-Have:

·       Experience with performance testing tools.

·       Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).

·       Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

·       Experience with other testing frameworks or tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Jest, Mocha).

·       Understanding of industrial automation or control systems.

·       Experience with Xray for Test Reports.
