We are looking for a Cloud Architect / Senior DevOps Engineer who combines strong hands-on DevOps expertise with architectural thinking, and who actively contributes to evolving our ways of working, standards, and cloud solutions together with internal stakeholders.
If you enjoy designing cloud solutions end-to-end, driving improvements, and shaping engineering practices—while staying hands-on—this role is for you.

Your Role with Us – What You'll Achieve
As a senior member of our AWS Team, you will take responsibility beyond implementation—bridging architecture, engineering, and collaboration with internal customers.
You will help shape how we design cloud solutions, evolve our standards, and continuously improve our engineering approach.

Your Main Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Project Leadership
• Designing end-to-end cloud architectures in close collaboration with internal customers and stakeholders
• Translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable AWS solutions
• Driving and supporting the implementation of solutions together with the team
• Acting as a technical lead in projects and providing architectural guidance

Architectural Runway & Continuous Improvement
• Evolving our Architectural Runway in line with SAFe principles to support current and future solution needs
• Driving automation, standardization, and reusable building blocks (e.g., Terraform modules, CI/CD templates)
• Identifying improvement opportunities in existing solutions and proactively implementing them
• Contributing to long-term technology direction and aligning it with team and stakeholder needs

Engineering Excellence & Standards
• Defining, refining, and promoting team-wide standards (coding, IaC, cloud architecture, security, etc.)
• Establishing best practices for building and operating cloud solutions
• Supporting and mentoring team members, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous learning
• Actively contributing to a strong engineering culture within the team

Hands-on Engineering & Operations
• Designing and implementing infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, GitLab, Ansible, Docker/Podman, and Renovate
• Supporting containerization and automated deployments within AWS
• Driving further automation of configuration and deployment processes
• Supporting operations and internal customers during business hours

What You Bring to Make a Real Impact
Experience & Expertise
• Several years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps (typically 5+ years)
• Strong hands-on expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Proven experience in designing cloud architectures and guiding technical implementations
• Deep knowledge of Terraform, Git, CI/CD (e.g., GitLab), and automation tools
• Solid understanding of containerization and cloud-native architectures
• Experience with Linux-based systems

• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive topics end-to-end
• Ability to balance architectural thinking with hands-on implementation
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in working with stakeholders
• Passion for continuous improvement and building sustainable solutions

• Fluent in written and spoken English
