Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with hands-on experience in Siemens Automation, Drives, and Process Instruments? Do you enjoy solving real-world technical challenges and working directly with customers across industries like manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure?

Siemens Australia is expanding its Field Services Team in Melbourne and we’re looking for a proactive, technically sharp professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.

What You'll Do:

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be the trusted expert on-site, delivering commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance for a range of Siemens solutions. Your role is critical in keeping complex systems running smoothly and ensuring our clients stay one step ahead through minimal downtime and peak performance.

You’ll work across a diverse set of projects and industries, collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to provide both immediate support and long-term automation solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens Control Systems — both on-site and remotely.
• Deliver technical support and hands-on training to customers on Siemens technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to tailor automation solutions.
• Support project planning, cost estimates, and execution.
• Ensure full compliance with Siemens standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–10 years of proven field service experience with Siemens automation and control systems.
• Strong technical know-how in industrial automation, process engineering, and control systems.
• Bonus points for experience with Ship-to-Shore (STS) and Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes.
• Ability to think fast, troubleshoot effectively, and deliver high-value solutions under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Willingness to travel — locally, interstate, and occasionally internationally.

Why Siemens?

• Work with a global leader in digital automation and smart infrastructure
• Be part of a team driving innovation in industry 4.0 technologies
• Access continuous training and professional development
• Competitive salary with flexible working arrangements
• Supportive, inclusive team culture that values your contribution
