Then come and join our global team as Team Lead Location Manager to take responsibility for our corporate real estate.
In this role you'll take strategic responsibility for the effective real estate management of circa 32 sites, both manufacturing/production/warehousing and corporate offices, via a team of 7 direct reports. You'll have a genuine opportunity to drive continuous improvement across our estate and build a best in class team providing outstanding service delivery. This is a high profile role responsible for keeping our physical work spaces operating effectively and safely. The role will require regular travel around the estate (20-30%) with one day a week working from home and the rest to be spent in our Camberley office in the UK.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Be the central point of contact for our technical project managers, asset managers, and external contacts, such as local authorities.
- Lead a dedicated team and work with them to manage internal contract management at our location in UK and at other locations within EMEA.
- Support the asset and technical management team in contract negotiations and in the drafting of contract terms (e.g., pricing, termination conditions).
- Take responsibility for the economic implementation of the concluded rental and lease agreements.
- Actively participate in the development of space optimization, taking into account customer needs and market developments.
- Continuously identify potential for improving space efficiency, usage costs, and internal rental conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, guidelines, maintenance specifications, and internal processes.
- Together with your team, you are responsible for implementing local EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) aspects and actively contribute to risk minimization and the promotion of a zero-accident culture.
- You'll create forecasts and monitor the budget for your projects, have a strong understanding of the cost structures of technical facilities and equipment, and ensure that budgets are adhered to.
Your qualifications and experience:
- A degree in real estate management or a comparable field is highly desirable, although proven professional estate management experience and additional qualifications will also be considered.
- Demonstrable experience of leading a large corporate real estate operation.
- In-depth experience in project management and real estate maintenance.
- Proven people management & leadership experience.
- You have in-depth knowledge of real estate and contract law.
