A Snapshot of Your Day
Every day as a Group Team Leader CCD Role, you will be at the forefront of engineering excellence. Starting with a daily touchpoint with your team, you’ll ensure their welfare, address any issues, and provide clear direction for the day’s tasks. You will engage in monthly one-on-one sessions with team members to monitor progress and support their professional development and co-ordinate with management to ensure deliverables are satisfied.. You will also oversee the core configuration and definition, attend global tool key user meetings, lead improvement projects and promote a quality mindset engaging communication channels.
Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:
- Provide exceptional group line management to multilocation team, focusing on performance management, skill development, and competency alignment.
- Coordinate group activities, efficiently plan for upcoming work, and manage resource requirements.
- Maintain high standards in core configuration, definition (PLM2020 and drawings), product change management and technical documentation, ensuring flawless execution and consistency.
- Foster strong customer and collaborator relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
- Own and maintain work instructions and process procedures, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Lead improvement, process development, and data projects, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Oversee interfaces and requirements for global tools and related projects, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:
- Over 20 years of experience in Mechanical engineering with minimum 15 year experience in Gas turbine design.
- In-depth knowledge of company processes related to change management, configuration, definitions, and documentation.
- Extensive experience in working with multinational and diverse team.
- Proven experience with PLM2020, AWC, and NX, along with a solid understanding of SAP.
- Experience in drawing and definition approvals including understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) and related standards such as BS 8888 - Technical Product Documentation and Specification
- Broad understanding of gas turbine products and their design and development process.
- Strong approach to structured and analytical thinking with ability to make informed technical decisions..
- Excellent communication including effective delivery of constructive criticism.
- Leadership skills to manage a team of 5+ staff members.
- Project management skills including ability to negotiate project requirements and deliverables.
