Siemens doesn’t just build automation systems—we help shape the future of industry in Australia. As a key player in the electrical automation space, we are committed to innovation, reliability, sustainability, and above all, safety.

We are currently seeking an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Professional with a strong electrical background to join our high performing EHS team. This role is critical to ensuring that our projects, people, and processes not only meet compliance standards but exceed them—supporting a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with the Siemens engineering, commissioning, and project delivery teams, you'll provide expert EHS guidance across a range of manufacturing, industrial automation and electrical infrastructure projects. Your knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards—especially in high-risk, high-tech environments—will help safeguard both our people and the systems we deliver.

You’ll lead site safety assessments, advise on electrical safety practices, and ensure our compliance with standards, ISO certifications, and local regulatory requirements. Just as importantly, you’ll help drive the proactive, prevention-first mindset we value across the business.

You will bring a solid foundation in electrical systems—perhaps as a former electrician, engineer, or technician—combined with experience in an EHS leadership or advisory role. You understand the practical realities of working in environments where automation, power distribution, and control systems are central, and you’re confident communicating safety expectations at all levels of the business.

Siemens values people who are clear thinkers, natural collaborators, and passionate about both safety and innovation. To be considered for this opportunity it is likely that you will have:

• Experience in EHS within electrical automation, energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
• Strong knowledge of electrical hazards, lockout/tagout procedures, and relevant safety regulations (e.g., AS/NZS 4836:2011, ISO 45001)
• Excellent communication and incident investigation skills
• Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety and/or Electrical Engineering

You'll be part of a forward-thinking team where EHS is viewed not as a checkbox, but as an integral part of innovation. This organisation offers opportunities for career growth, training, and the chance to work on projects that are transforming Australia.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in a company that values your technical and safety expertise, we’d love to hear from you.

Siemens are committed to ensuring our workplace reflects the communities in which we operate, that everyone has access to the same opportunities and is treated fairly, and that we actively empower the voices of every individual.

We strive to provide a safe working environment for each member of our diverse team and commit to continuously develop our ways of working on this journey. From our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan to our diverse cultural celebrations, LGBTQIA+ education and support to our gender equity initiatives, we strive to make our workplace an inclusive environment where every individual feels empowered and heard.

If you require any reasonable accommodations or adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know.
