 Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and evaluate emerging Agentic AI frameworks and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement prototypes of AI agents to address specific EDA problems (e.g., design exploration, optimization).
  • Assist in integrating AI agent solutions with existing EDA tools and workflows.
  • Analyze performance and effectiveness of AI-driven approaches compared to traditional methods.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and researchers to define project scope and deliverables.
  • Document findings, present results, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of AI/Machine Learning fundamentals, including neural networks, reinforcement learning, or large language models.
  • Familiarity with agent-based systems, multi-agent systems, or autonomous agents is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
  • Basic understanding of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) concepts (e.g., VLSI design, circuit simulation, physical design) is a bonus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education. You’ll Benefit From
The hourly pay range for this position is 18-50 per hour for first time Interns or 18-50 per hour for returning Interns. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
