  • Experience with load flow, short circuit, protection & relay coordination, arc flash, and/or grounding studies for HV, MV, and/or LV systems.
  • Strong foundation in power systems and protective relaying principles, including applications and hardware—both microprocessor-based and electromechanical relays—from major vendors.
  • Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining protection schemes for power system components such as generators, transformers, buses, and transmission/distribution lines.
  • Expertise in power system modeling and analysis software, such as CYME, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, PSCAD, PSS®E, Gridscale X APA, ASPEN, and/or others.
  • Ability to travel 10% domestically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Power System Consulting.
  • Experience with power quality and transient stability studies is preferred.
  • Experience in distribution system planning or operations, microgrids, and load/generation forecasting and integration is preferred.
