We are looking for: Lead Software Engineer (ALM & DevOps Expert),

You’ll make an impact by:

·       Solution Architecture: Design and optimize Jira solutions (DC and Cloud), including workflows, issue types, and Jira Assets data models. Ensure integration readiness with Sherpa-X, SiBase-X, and Service NG-X.

·       Governance & Administration: Define tooling governance across SOL, manage Access Groups, global filters, templates, and lead schema changes via the Change Control Board.

·       Process Integration: Build end-to-end flows from Sales to PAC, including Workbooks, WBS, and project phases. Implement time tracking and system interfaces, including Jira Service Desk.

·       Collaboration & Strategy: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure Jira, and guide tooling decisions. Act as a Jira and API integration expert.

·       Bachelor’s degree required—with a focus in Software Engineering, Computer Science,.

·       8+ years of relevant work experience in Software Engineering.

·       Proven experience in enterprise environments, preferably with a focus on Atlassian tools.

·       Deep understanding of Jira DC, Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, Jira Assets, and Xray Test Management.

·       Strong knowledge of Jira REST APIs and integration capabilities with third-party systems.

·       Good to have knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, MS Dynamic and all of Sherpa-X and their interfaces to Atlassian

·       Experience with Active Directories, user provisioning, and group management.

·       Familiarity with ITSM, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

·       Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

·       Experience with scripting tools like ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, or Power Scripts.

·       Experience with data modeling, reporting, and dashboarding in Jira.
