We are looking for an Inside Sales Manager. This position will be based at Alpharetta, GA with 3 days per week in office.

As an Inside Sales Manager dedicated to Siemens Digital Industries, you ensure our Inside Sales Account Managers work closely with our B2B customers to provide innovative and environmentally friendly solutions through our digital channels. You guide your team to drive overall customer happiness and are responsible to achieve annual sales growth aspirations.

You’ll make an impact by:

  1. Lead with Growth Mindset & Team Management
    • Leads Inside sales team in the hub ensuring alignment with regional and global sales strategies
    • Provides direction, coaching, and performance management to teams.
    • Oversees and manages recruitment, sales workforce and succession planning, ensuring an efficient team structure and the right skills, sales capabilities, expertise, and leadership pipeline aligned with business needs
    • Oversees and drive team activity to support the adoption and implementation of established best practice processes and procedures for creating winning Sales teams
  1. Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Develops and implements a multi-year sales strategy
    • Defines business plans broken down ensuring that sales teams are effectively positioned for success.
    • Aligns inside sales teams and business functions with strategy and G2M approach
    • Monitors and adjusts sales strategy based on market trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning
    • Ensures the adoption of digital tools, CRM systems, and sales automation technologies
  1. Business & Financial Management
    • Oversees budgeting, investment priorities, and resource allocation
    • Ensures that financial goals and revenue and order intake growth targets are met
    • Implements risk management strategies to mitigate commercial risks and optimize profitability.
    • Regularly reviews pipeline performance and adjusts resource distribution for maximum impact
  1. Customer & Market Engagement
    • Ensures Siemens’ value proposition is effectively communicated to customers
    • Leads initiatives focused on customer retention
  1. Internal Collaboration & Compliance
    • Ensures strong collaboration with cross-functional teams involving sales organizations
    • Implements governance frameworks to track and enforce compliance across all sales activities
    • Implements sales reporting mechanisms and performance tracking to ensure transparency in execution
    • Drives best-practice sharing across regions to optimize sales effectiveness

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience with 3+ years of proven experience in inside sales, preferably in a B2B setup.
  • Excel in team leadership and coaching, are motivated to be part of a fresh and innovative setup, and are eager to build and manage a team
  • Demonstrate strong planning and execution skills, ability to lead from the front, mentor and coach team members to achieve desired goals
  • Enjoy working in Sales and are inspired to see the vision for Inside Sales come alive.
  • Have a customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • See Virtual Selling as more than a buzzword: You understand the seamless integration of digital engagement (e.g., Digital Selling, virtual communication, use of social media) with customers to ensure outstanding customer experience
  • You share our passion for (Siemens) technology, software, products, and services within the area of industrial automation and digitalization. You understand their value and can help customers get the most out of our portfolio. (e.g., HMI, SINAMICS, TIA Portal, Mindsphere).
  • Demonstrate excellent listening skills and have an open, communicative style that conveys excitement over phone or video calls.
  • Have experience managing international teams spread across different countries
  • Excel in data analytics and understand how to drive performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equal professional work experience.
  • Industrial background in Technology sales
  • Prior experience using Salesforce as a CRM
