This is a part-time internship starting immediately, leading into a full-time internship during Summer 2026.

This is a hybrid position.  

Work hours must not exceed 29 hours per week.

What you will do as a Siemens Smart Infrastructure Sales Part-Time Intern

Provide support for the Building Automation Sales Team during opportunity development cycle.  This position reports into the solutions organization. The goal of this position is to enable Automation Solutions Sellers to focus on customer-facing activity, while ensuring implementation of our core business processes. This role will support sales administrative and prospecting activities that will include, but not be limited to, research, meeting minutes and note-taking, drawings review and takeoffs, and development of estimates and proposals.

Recurring tasks:

  • Research on market, projects, accounts, contacts, etc.
  • Attend customer meetings/calls and record meeting minutes and action items.
  • Support with coordinating and conducting customer networking events such as "Lunch-n-Learns" and industry association events.
  • Support automation solution sellers with developing and implementing strategies for sales growth.
  • Support with reviewing and marking up drawings for new project bids.
  • Support with developing and finalizing estimates and proposals for new project bids.
Requirements


Must be used to working independently, be self-motivated and is looking for a long-term career.

Excellent MS Excel, Word skills are a must.  
  • Education / Majors: Current sophomore or junior undergraduates pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited college or university and majoring in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial/System Engineering, Industrial Distribution, HVAC, Business/Management/Marketing/Sales with strong technical/engineering aptitude (preferred)
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0 (preferred)
  • Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship is required
  • Prior internship or co-op experience
  • Demonstrated leadership potential
  • Strong analytical, writing, presentation and critical-thinking skills
  • Industry knowledge and/or interest

You’ll Benefit From
The hourly pay range for this position 24 - 28 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
