We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to join our Software Quality Assurance Engineer team. As a QA engineer you will be part of the international team that develops Design-for Test Tessent Products. You will have the opportunity to test tools that are vital in testing and validating ICs such as microprocessors, SoCs, GPUs and memories used by the world’s leading semiconductor companies.

Working in this position you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Tessent software products. The individual will work closely with the software application developers and Product Manager to help deliver timely product releases that effectively meet our customer's needs. 

The successful candidate will need to be a highly motivated engineer with excellent communication skills, and the ability to successfully interact with fellow team members and developers on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

The successful candidates must possess the following combination of education and experience:

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or other related field
• At least 2 years of experience in software testing
• Strong analysis, design, and problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of Linux and one or more scripting languages
• Basic knowledge of C/C++
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

• Electrical engineering basics, digital circuit design basics
• Basics of hardware description languages and/or experience in software development
