We are looking for an Accountant (Contract).

This position is based in BKK and supports the operation both in Thailand and Vietnam, working closely with accounting shared service in China, and the local country accounting.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Daily operation Accounting Function

• You will consolidate documents to support payment process, review, print and file for accounting & tax purposes.
• You will review employee expense claims to be in line with traveling policy and local tax purposes.
• You will issue Sales Tax Invoice when necessary.
• You will consolidate documents of customer payments, print, and filing for accounting & tax purposes.
• You will coordinate with site operation team to maintain tag of fixed assets at the site and conduct Fixed Asset cycle count.
• You will scan and save accounting documents of Vietnam in shared drive for further processing by VN accounting firm.
• You will prepare PO for Vietnam goods purchases
• You will collect various documents by yearly and store at the warehouse (IRON MOUNTAIN).

Closing Accounting Function

• You will prepare necessary journal entries to correct accounting transactions.
• You will prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.

Tax Function

• You will prepare monthly VAT and WHT filing forms (PND3,53,54,PP.36), and raise payment.
• Scope expansion and other tasks that may assigned from time to time, and upon for the right candidate, with training and development available.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge

• You hold a bachelor's in Accounting field.
• You possess knowledge of Thai tax rules & Thai Accounting GAAP.
• You have experience in SAP, Concur, good skill in MS Excel.
• You have fair command of English.
• You have experience in multination company and auditing.
• Vietnam accounting exposure would be advantage.
