Your Role
As a Customer Service Engineer Medical Imaging Systems, you play a key role in ensuring that advanced diagnostic systems perform at their best. You are primarily responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of CT, PET/CT, and SPECT/CT systems at hospitals, healthcare institutions, and private clinics.
Your work enables healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnoses and high‑quality patient care, every single day.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Be part of the on‑call service team, quickly analyzing and resolving technical issues, both on site and through remote support.
- Ensure high‑quality handover after each assignment, including clear reporting and thorough documentation.
- Advise customers on the optimal use and maintenance of their systems.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements or expansions and support sales colleagues where appropriate.
- Participate in a rotation system as a Helpdesk Engineer, acting as a first‑line technical contact, performing remote diagnostics, and supporting fellow service engineers.
What You Bring
- A completed MBO+ or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Technical Computer Science.
- Knowledge of electronics, or a strong willingness to follow additional technical training.
- Relevant work experience, preferably in hospitals or clinical environments.
- Experience with medical equipment or X‑ray systems is a strong advantage.
- A strong affinity with IT is essential.
- A flexible, proactive mindset and willingness to participate in standby/on‑call duties outside office hours.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in Dutch and English.
- A valid Category B driving license.
