In a world where system complexity and the pace of innovation are increasing exponentially, robust Configuration and Change Management is more critical than ever. We are looking for a personality who doesn't just manage, but shapes and optimizes. Here's your chance to bring your full management drive and vision to the table!
Your Mission: Why This Role is Crucial
As a key player in our Engineering Center in Žilina, you will take responsibility for ensuring that our complex train signaling systems are not only consistent and traceable but also agile enough to respond to changes. You are the driving force behind processes that future-proof our systems and ensure the smooth implementation of configuration baselines and changes.
Your Responsibilities – Shaping, Not Just Managing:
- You don't just analyze customer requirements; you proactively translate them into clear, actionable configuration strategies and drive their implementation.
- The definition and establishment of criteria for identifying and managing all relevant system components (software, hardware, documents, technical data, CM related tools) are in your hands – you create full transparency.
- You are responsible for the conceptional set-up, maintenance and further development of our hardware component databases to ensure precise oversight of a system configuration at all times.
- You design the change management strategies for our projects and ensure their stringent and controlled implementation.
- As a central interface, you actively coordinate and support other project team members, fostering a culture of consistency and shared understanding.
- Your active participation in project meetings is characterized by your conceptional input and your ability to drive and communicate decisions.
- You establish and optimize processes for efficient Change and Configuration Management to minimize the impact of changes and maximize system integrity.
- You have a strong technical understanding to comprehend complex interdependencies in railway technology.
What You Bring – Your Personality Counts!
We are not just looking for a specialist, but a management personality who loves challenges and wants to actively shape change.
- Education: A successfully completed university degree (Bachelor, Master)
- Language Skills: Excellent English language skills (at least B2 level) to operate confidently in our international environment and excellent Slovak language skills (at least B2 level). German language is an advantage.
- Your Personality – Your Management Focus:
- You possess a strong personality and the ability to strategically guide and align project teams within complex environments, driving them towards shared goals and optimal results.
- You take on technical responsibility for your project and coordinate your team members.
- With your strategic mindset, you recognize interdependencies and develop future-oriented solutions for complex challenges in Configuration and Change Management.
- Your strong communication and negotiation skills enable you to convince stakeholders and achieve common goals.
- You work independently but are also a team player who keeps the overall success in mind.
- A systematic and reliable approach to work is a matter of course for you – even under high demands.
- You have strong moderation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally and collaborate with international teams (20%).
