We're seeking a dynamic Portfolio Sales Specialist for our PCS7 Distributed Control System (DCS) portfolio to join our Digital Industries Sales Acceleration team. As a technical evangelist and subject matter expert, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth through deep product knowledge and value-driven customer engagement across our comprehensive PCS7 portfolio, including PCS7, PCS Neo (inc S7-400 hardware), COMOS and PAA

We are looking for a Portfolio Sales Specialist. This role is remote and can be located anywhere in the continental United States.
You’ll make an impact by:
Technical Leadership & Portfolio Advocacy
• Develop comprehensive expertise in Siemens Distributed Control System products and solutions
• Serve as the primary technical evangelist, articulating unique value propositions to customers and partners (Internal and External)
• Provide expert guidance on product capabilities and technology roadmaps
• Stay current with industry trends and competitive offerings
Customer Engagement & Value Creation
• Participate actively throughout the Siemens Engagement Model from identification to negotiation
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify customer use cases
• Lead Vision Setting and Scoping Workshops demonstrating solution value
• Deliver compelling presentations positioning Siemens DI offerings as the optimal choice
• Support proof of concept implementations showcasing portfolio capabilities
Solution Development & Collaboration
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer-centric Digital Thread solutions
• Contribute technical expertise to RFP responses and solution designs
• Develop use case initiatives demonstrating portfolio value
• Partner with Account Managers on account-specific expansion strategies
• Work with Solution Partners and Integrators to ensure successful implementations
Business Development
• Identify new opportunities for portfolio adoption within existing and prospective accounts
• Leverage market intelligence tools to identify potential customers
• Conduct Digital Maturity Assessments to identify digitalization opportunities
• Apply consultative selling methodologies to create new perspectives with customers
What you'll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
- 8+ years of technical knowledge of DCS, hardware and software and virtual commissioning methodologies
- Proven experience in technical sales, solution engineering, or customer-facing technical roles within automation or simulation
- Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial automation workflows
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to translate simulation benefits into business value
- ]Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States permanently without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with Siemens PCS7 products
- Knowledge of virtual commissioning processes and digital twin concepts
- Understanding of industrial control systems and drive technologies
- Experience in manufacturing, process industries, or machine building
- Familiarity with TIA Portal and Siemens automation ecosystem

The pay range for this position is $80,920 - $169,080 annually with a target incentive of 30% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
