Job Summary:

Responsible for designing and developing cloud automation solutions for products and services, with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.

Prerequisites and Essential Functions

Responsibilities: 

·       Design and automate infrastructure on AWS, Azure using IaC (Terraform).

·       Automate provisioning of EC2, EBS, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, S3, IAM, VPC, Azure storage, Azure VM, vNet and security components.

·       Implement environment standardization across DEV, UAT, RV, and PROD.

·       Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines deployments and upgrades.

·       Automate validation workflows.

·       Develop scripts for install, upgrade, and rollback procedures

·       Backup and restore (S3, EBS snapshots, Azure storage, and retention policies)

·       Set up automated monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch and logging tools.

·       Implement health checks and auto-recovery mechanisms.

·       Design, develop, and maintain Ansible workflows for cloud infrastructure and application automation.

·       Implement robust error handling and troubleshooting paths within workflows to ensure reliability and predictable outcomes.

·       Continuously improve workflow efficiency, scalability, and maintainability across multiple environments.

·       Optimize application performance and resource utilization in the cloud environment.

·       Participate in security audits and implement necessary security measures.

·       Contribute to the development of the organization's cloud roadmap and strategy.

·       Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

·       10+ years of experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ALB, CloudWatch) and Azure

·       Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).

·       Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Groovy.

·       Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and similar.

·       Linux system administration experience.

·       Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

·       Experience supporting enterprise applications

·       Understanding of application upgrades, validation, and rollback strategies.

·       Must have hands on automation experience of an enterprise cloud native application

·       Strong understanding of security best practices in the cloud.

·       Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage expectations in highly matrixed organization. Must be excellent team player.

·       Must have bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Mechanical, Electrical engineering, or related field. Master’s degree highly preferred.

Having experience with SaaS product will be an advantage
