About the role:

We are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) to join the product management team looking after the AI products on the Rapidminer data and AI platform. As integral layer, the Rapidminer platform contains authoring and operationalization capabilities for data science, machine learning and AI and related data-driven decision making, targeted at a broad range of enterprise user personas ranging from business users to citizen developers to data experts.

Your goal and focus are to drive value for our customers by working closely with customers, prospects and internal stakeholders to understand customer requirements, identify and prioritize related opportunities to advance the products and drive innovative platform capabilities. You will work together with world-class product leaders, designers, and engineers in a fast-moving team to grow value for our customers as well as our commercial success.

What you’ll be doing:

•    Product management – engage with stakeholders, customers, prospects to identify opportunities, develop strategy, roadmaps, release plans, go-to market to ultimately deliver the right products

•    Product discovery – drive and work closely with design and engineering in an agile product discovery process that engages closely with end users and customers to test and validate concepts, architectures, mockups, and prototypes to find the best solutions

•    Product ownership – manage the backlog of your team, write epics and user stories, and set priorities

•    Product evangelism – educate and promote the products to internal and external audiences

What you’ll bring:

•    Product management and product owner experience in an agile/scrum process

•    Track record managing enterprise products as product owner and good overview and understanding of enterprise software requirements and supporting technologies

•    Understanding of data science, machine learning and AI domains and markets, related value realization in industry use cases and, ideally, practical implementation experience in low-code/no-code tools or related coding languages like Python in an enterprise context

•    Understanding of generative AI and agentic AI methodologies, architectures, applications and respective technologies

•    Passion for design excellence, usability & user experience in products

•    Technical acumen, ideally with prior background in software engineering

•    English language fluency

•    Knowledge of and passion for scrum and agile software development methodologies

•    Sense of urgency, pragmatism and a solution-oriented approach to solving problems

•    Enjoy running ideas, mockups and prototypes by customers and users

•    Experience in using standard tools in the product management / development environment, such as Confluence and Jira

•    Collaborative, team oriented, yet able to lead and drive as the PM and PO for the product
