Demand and Material Planner
This is your role. What part will you play?
• Create and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, trends, and cross-functional (Sales, HQ) inputs.
• Monitor and analyze demand fluctuations, taking corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy.
• Identify product shortages or supply risks, develop recovery plans, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Optimize inventory policies (safety stock, reorder points, max/min levels) to ensure stock availability without surplus.
• Conduct data analysis to support decisions on raw material supply and finished goods demand.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing existing workflows, resolving technical issues, and enhancing automation stability and performance.
• Process and manage customer purchase orders in SAP from order receipt to invoicing
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and convert them into scalable Python workflows.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide delivery or order status updates.

• Strong understanding of forecasting techniques, demand analysis, and supply planning.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PP/MM (implementation experience is an advantage).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in building Python-based tools for project execution, including dashboards, monitoring utilities, alerts, and data validation frameworks.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills to resolve automation failures and enhance script stability.
• Proactive team player who can take initiative and support in colleagues’ absence.
• High focus on data accuracy and logical decision-making.
Technical/Functional
• MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or B.Tech in Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an MNC
• SAP (PP/MM/SD modules) – Hands-on experience in order processing, inventory, and demand planning transactions.
• Advanced Excel skills – For data analysis, dashboards, and reporting.
• Forecasting tools / Demand planning systems – Experience with statistical or system-based forecasting methods (advantageous).
• Knowledge of supply chain processes – Understanding of end-to-end demand, supply, and order management flow.
• Data interpretation and reporting – Ability to convert data insights into actionable plans.
Location
This role is based in Goa, but you’ll also get to visit other locations in India, so you’ll need to go where this journey takes you. In return, you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, – and the shape of things to come.
