We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Support Professional to join our Smart Infrastructure Buildings – Services Sales team at Siemens!

New team member will need to have a solid technical background in building automation and HVAC systems, with hands-on experience in modernization, extension, and migration service projects for existing customers. Comfortable working closely with sales teams, performing site surveys, developing technical solutions, and supporting proposal preparation.

What part will you play? 

  • Provide technical sales support to the Service Sales organization, working closely with sales representatives throughout the entire sales cycle.
  • Perform site surveys and assess Building Automation and HVAC systems for existing customer installations, develop extensions, modernizations, retrofits, and third-party-to-Siemens migration projects.
  • Analyze existing systems and prepare BMS point lists, cable lists, system inventories, and field device mappings.
  • Develop technical solution concepts in line with Siemens standards and customer requirements.
  • Prepare schematic drawings and basic system layouts for equipmnets and panels using AutoCAD.
  • Support the selection of controllers, control panels, and field devices.
  • Prepare technical inputs for proposals, including technical scope, quantities, 3rd party cost inputs, and sales calculations.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of technical and commercial offers in close collaboration with the sales team.
  • Participate in customer meetings to deliver system presentations and solution demonstrations, clearly explaining system architecture, functionality, and value propositions.
  • Perform Installed Base (I-Base) analysis to identify opportunities for Digital Services and prepare related proposals.
  • Organize and lead customer meetings focused on Digital Service opportunities and solution positioning.
  • Actively use Siemens AI-based tools in daily work to support system analysis, proposal preparation, documentation, data evaluation, and productivity improvement across sales and service processes.
  • Take responsibility for the project management of service projects below a defined threshold, including planning, coordination with operations and site teams, and tracking scope, schedule, and technical progress.
  • Ensure proper preparation and handover of standard service projects to Project Management / Operations teams, including completion of technical documentation, scope clarification, and internal readiness.


What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline or a technical degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in technical sales support, service commissioning or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of Building Automation and HVAC systems is preferred.
  • Additional knowledge of energy monitoring systems, lighting automation, and third-party building automation systems is a strong plus.
  • Motivated to learn and develop, with the ability to strengthen and expand knowledge in low-current systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical thinking, a structured working approach, and the ability to balance field and office work effectively.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work efficiently with sales, project management, and operations teams.
  • Upper-intermediate level of English for technical communication and documentation.
