Join our team as a developer for future software technologies and drive the digital transformation of our products within Digital Industries Software.

Challenges to solve:

  • the data governance framework according to SDC/ Collibra
  • Bring Collibra to life and own it for the Data Domain: Software
  • Driving/ implementing definitions, data structures, creation of Meta Data for data products (objectives: enable data lineage/ transparency and prepare data to usable by AI)
  • Be instrumental for creation process of data products/ develop a data product strategy for DI SW
  • Establish a certification process for data products
  • Drive a change management process into the business to adopt definitions in the business


Key Responsibilities:

Be the leader of the platform for central “golden standard” reporting  

  • You have a global mandate to shape the next level of technology for a of a holistic, consistent, and reliable reporting landscape
  • You introduce a data aggregation layer platform to set the NorthStar within DI SW Finance reporting, which is enabling/ implementing a governance framework
  • You strive the balance between centralized reporting governance and decentralized organizational needs (federal approach)
  • You are working in liaison with different analytic teams, and you have the global mandate to harmonize reporting needs and define the corporate standard
  • Develop and Maintain Reporting Standards: Establish, document, and enforce comprehensive reporting governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability across all organizational reports.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Implement processes and controls to monitor and improve the quality, accuracy, and completeness of data used in reporting, collaborating closely with data owners and IT teams.
  • Manage Reporting Lifecycle: Oversee the entire lifecycle of reports, from initial requirements gathering and design to development, testing, distribution, and eventual retirement, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with various business units, IT, and data analytics teams to understand reporting needs, define clear requirements, and ensure reports meet strategic objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Collibra and SDC Alignment is needed
  • Tooling and Best Practices: Drive the adoption of best practices for reporting tools and methodologies, providing guidance and training to report developers and end-users.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain robust documentation for all governed reports, including data definitions, business rules, source systems, and distribution methods.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in data governance, reporting, business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role with a strong focus on data quality and control.
  • Reporting Expertise: Proven experience in designing, developing, and governing enterprise-level reports and dashboards.
  • Data Governance Knowledge: Solid understanding of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, SAP Analytics Cloud) and experience with SQL or other data querying languages.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with large-scale data warehousing or data lake environments.
  • Knowledge of specific industry regulations relevant to our business.
  • Certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP) or business intelligence tools.

The pay range for this position is 147,500 - 265,600 annually with a target incentive of 10-15 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
