About the Role
We are looking for a Software Architect to join our team and lead the design of a brand-new, highly innovative Developer Productivity Platform for the OSES organization. This is a highly visible and strategic role that will shape the technical direction of systems that measure and improve developer productivity across the enterprise. Your architectural decisions will influence how engineering teams build, integrate, and scale software solutions for years to come.
As an Architect, you will define and enforce enterprise architecture standards, design microservices-based systems, and ensure seamless systems integration. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver solutions that are cloud-native, secure, and scalable, while driving best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile development.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the architectural vision for the Developer Productivity Platform.
- Participate in architectural forums that help gather feedback and improve plans.
- Design enterprise-scale systems leveraging microservices architecture and cloud-native principles.
- Lead systems integration strategies across multiple platforms and SaaS solutions.
- Establish standards for data pipelines, ETL workflows, and developer productivity tooling.
- Drive adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated deployments.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align architecture with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks and security best practices.
- Mentor engineering teams on architectural patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Promote Agile methodologies and continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in an architectural leadership role.
- Strong expertise in systems integration, microservices architecture, and enterprise architecture.
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript for solution design and prototyping.
- Experience designing data pipelines/ETL workflows and integrating SaaS platforms.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native concepts, Kubernetes, and cloud-based services.
- Deep knowledge of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with developer productivity platforms and automation tooling.
- Knowledge of observability frameworks (logging, monitoring, tracing).
- Ability to influence technical strategy and drive architectural consensus.

The pay range for this position is $180,400 - $324,700 annually with a target incentive of 15-25% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
