This is your role. What part will you play?

The Overall System Earthing & Bonding (E&B) Engineer is responsible for supporting the integration of subsystem-specific E&B measures, including monitoring and reporting performance against requirements derived from design documents, installation instructions, and acceptance and test method statements.

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Clarify E&B issues at interfaces with third parties and between subsystems, as required by EMC and E&B Management.
  • Coordinate integration of subsystem E&B activities by collecting relevant data, documents, and information from designers, installation teams, and site supervisors.
  • Perform and coordinate spot checks on QC documentation and installed E&B and EMC measures during construction and installation phases.
  • Conduct random tests and inspections of installed E&B and EMC measures, and document all checks, inspections, and test results.
  • Follow up and resolve open issues identified during spot checks, and witness subsystem verifications and tests related to E&B, EMC, and electrical safety.
  • Support analysis and provide guidance on documenting E&B and EMC measures to ensure compliance and evidence for overall system EMC conformity.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, or other engineering disciplines with a background in transportation and railways.
  • Basic knowledge of structural E&B, grounding, lightning protection, and stray-current corrosion.
  • Ability to work independently with a structured approach and strong problem-solving skills.
  • High quality orientation, combined with strong consulting and implementation capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with project experience in international customer or development projects considered an advantage.
