For our IE team, we are looking for an IE Engineer to help us drive Electrification & Automation Business within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.

You’ll make an impact by

• Identify and realize the optimization potentials for welding workstations.
• Daily welding quality check, welder qualification assessment, welding process evaluation and optimization. Develop advanced welding technology to fit product requirements.
• Responsible for manufacturing fixtures and tools development, including WI description or other production related documents creation and updates, etc.
• Cooperate with other departments (such as LOC, RD) to work on new product introduction and production readiness.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, production optimization.

Your defining qualities

• Bachelor’s degree and above, welding / mechanical major or other associate majors.
• At least 3 years’ working experience in welding process engineering.
• Be familiar with the common welding processes, especially arc welding and gas welding and machine, knowledge for the welding quality evaluation.
• Strong ownership, teamwork, cross function coordination and communication skills.
• Good command of English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Background with Industry 4.0 or machine automation, or robot is a plus.
• International Welding Engineer qualification Certificate is preferred.
• Skilled in office software, AutoCAD, and project.
• Good communication and change management skills
