At Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) we are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Compliance Support Specialist to join our operational Compliance & Quality Support team in Ostrava.

What will be your new mission?

As part of one of the largest shared service centers in the Czech Republic, you'll gain valuable experience in a professional, international compliance setting.

Your mission will be to ensure Siemens consistently adheres to its rules and regulations. This role involves routine, transactional activities, where you'll systematically monitor, screen, and review data using specialized tools and systems. You'll be crucial in verifying that all operations meet established policies and legal standards, helping our organization maintain its strong ethical foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review alerts or screening results from compliance systems to identify potential issues, including sanctions, AML, or export control concerns
• Perform verification and due diligence checks using internal tools, databases, or public records as needed
• Escalate potential or confirmed findings to senior colleagues for further review and action
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve compliance or other operational matters
• Complete required compliance training to stay up-to-date with company policies and regulations

What we value in our new team member?

• High school diploma or university degree
• 1+ years of experience in compliance, financial services, or a related operational area is a plus but not required
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, especially when interpreting complex or incomplete information
• Good English language skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to identify variations or discrepancies in data
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and within a team while managing priorities
• High ethical standards, reliability, and a positive learning attitude
