We are looking for: IT Solution Expert - SAP BTP Integration Architect

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including :

• Crafting and leading the end‑to‑end integration architecture across SAP and non‑SAP systems, with a solid focus on SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management) and EDI/B2B integrations.
• Defining integration standards, patterns, and procedures for APIs, events, and EDI landscapes to ensure scalable, secure, and future‑proof solutions.
• Translating sophisticated business requirements into clear technical integration develop in close collaboration with business participants, project managers, and architects.
• Providing technical leadership and architectural mentorship to integration developers, ensuring compliance with security, performance, and governance standards.
• Crafting and handling EDI mappings and partner onboarding using standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and VDA, enabling reliable and compliant data exchange.
• Exploring and validating new SAP BTP integration capabilities and emerging technologies through proof of concepts and innovation initiatives.
• Crafting and maintaining architecture and integration documentation, including diagrams, mapping specifications, and lifecycle documentation (e.g., LeanIX).
• Acting as a key partner concern point for tackle, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of the integration landscape.
• Presenting sophisticated technical topics clearly and optimally to both technical and non‑technical team members.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing SAP integration solutions, with shown ownership of sophisticated integration landscapes.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP, especially SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors).
• 3+ years of proven EDI experience, including standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and VDA, and common message types (e.g. ORDERS, DESADV, INVOIC, DELFOR).
• Experience with EDI platforms and mapping tools such as SAP BTP CI, Seeburger, Sterling Integrator, Azure, or comparable solutions, including knowledge of VAN providers.
• Deep understanding of integration patterns and protocols (REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, AS2, AMQP, JMS; synchronous and asynchronous communication models).
• Solid grasp of cloud‑native and event‑driven architectures, including microservices principles.
• Good understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA integration touchpoints; experience with SAP cloud solutions such as Ariba, SuccessFactors, or C/4HANA is a plus.
• Experience in API develop, lifecycle management, and security, following industry standard processes.
• Strong awareness of security, compliance, and data privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR) in cloud and B2B integration scenarios.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to compose robust, scalable, and cost‑efficient solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in English, with confidence engaging internal teams, business users, and external partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience; relevant SAP or EDI certifications are an advantage.
