Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Deputy Section Manager – Rolling Stock and Depot Workshop Equipment

This is your role. What part will you play?

You will be responsible for overseeing and manage the Shift Leaders, Engineers, Technicians, and Workers employed within the RST/DWE section, including any temporary personnel assigned to this area.

The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Oversee operations and long-term planning, including optimization of maintenance tasks based on ongoing analysis.
  • Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities to ensure timely and technically accurate execution.
  • Ensure the proper technical condition and availability of all segments within the RST/DWE section.
  • Act as liaison between maintenance and operations departments to facilitate scheduled and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Lead internal meetings within the RST/DWE section and provide technical support for commissioning, installation, and testing.
  • Take appropriate action during incidents and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs, including analysis of maintenance history.

Use your skills to move the world forward.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Railway Engineering (or related field), with strong knowledge of Rolling Stock and Depot Workshop Equipment.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management of railway systems
  • Leadership and team management skills, with experience in planning, supervising, and developing technical staff competency.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability, capable of monitoring performance data, interpreting fault trends, and implementing reliability improvement measures.
  • Strong safety and quality orientation, ensuring adherence to safety rules, hazard-control requirements, and robust documentation practices.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written Thai; good proficiency in English communication.
