Strategic Account Manager – Aerospace & Defense
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned Aerospace & Defense accounts, aligning with customer business objectives and industry challenges.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior executives, program heads, engineering leaders, and IT/OT decision-makers across multiple accounts.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends within the Aerospace & Defense sector.
- Coordinate Siemens resources and technical experts across divisions to deliver integrated solutions.
- Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and integrators for successful project execution.
- Guide account governance, strategic planning, and portfolio positioning to ensure measurable value creation.
- Represent Siemens as a thought leader in industry associations and forums.
- Meet sales revenue and strategic targets for assigned segments/accounts.
- Provide feedback to Siemens’ strategy and portfolio teams to strengthen competitiveness.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in account management, business development, or consulting roles within Aerospace & Defense.
- Proven success in developing client relationships and opportunity pursuit strategies across multiple sales organizations.
- Strong understanding of the Aerospace & Defense industry, including regulatory environment (ITAR, DFARS, export compliance).
- Executive presence and strong communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to travel up to 30–40%.
- Experience managing large, strategic accounts in Aerospace & Defense or related industries.
- Existing executive relationships within major aerospace primes, Tier 1 suppliers, or federal defense agencies.
- Background in digital transformation initiatives.
- Fundamental understanding of Siemens Digital Industries portfolio.
- MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $172,462 annually with a target incentive of 42% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
