We are looking for: Wide Area Network Architect

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including :

• Define and further develop the company-wide WAN architecture, with a focus on cloud network connectivity, in close collaboration with lead architects, service providers, and other relevant customers
• Ensure effective technical governance by crafting and maintaining network-related regulations and policies
• Advise projects and business units on special requirements, developing and aligning concepts and specifications with all partners
• Supervise the market and vendors and identify improvements and access their business impact
• Translate new business demands into clear technical requirements e.g. for contract changes in collaboration with external providers and contract management
• Support service management in resolving sophisticated issues
• Consider cost and process implications in all activities

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in WAN, SD‑WAN, cloud networking, or related domains
• Strong expertise in SD‑WAN technologies, including architecture develop, implementation, and operations
• Solid grasp of cloud networking solutions, especially within network environments
• Proven experience in crafting, scaling, and optimizing large‑scale network infrastructures
• Ability to develop network policies and technical guidelines aligned with interpersonal governance standards
• Experience in implementing and handling network governance and monitoring frameworks
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and relevant industry best practices
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to address sophisticated network challenges
• Superb interpersonal skills to optimally collaborate with both business and technical partners
• Ability to produce clear and well‑structured user documentation
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices
• Experience with digitalization, data management, or data analytics is an added advantage
• Business‑level English proficiency (spoken and written) is required
