About Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation:

The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s power grid!

The Knightdale facility will deliver integrated electrical skid assemblies that combine power distribution and power conversion equipment with protection and automation systems. Electrical skids provide outdoor rated, modular, value-add solutions for key vertical markets to improve delivery reliability and lower total cost of ownership for customers.

We are looking for an Experienced Team Assistant. This position will be based in Knightdale, NC.

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Team Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Solutions teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for helping others succeed.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative areas for management team, including travel coordination, meeting planning and coordination, facility events, complex scheduling, and general office management.
  • Manage on-boarding and offboarding for the Solutions teams.
  • Purchase indirect materials as needed.
  • Assist employees with re-imaging of IT equipment as well as training/helping them navigate Siemens tools
  • Support remote and hybrid team members as needed with various topics
  • Directly support Solutions management leads with administrative support for meeting planning, appointments, travel, equipment, etc.
  • Utilize corporate e-tools for booking travel, processing expenses, ordering supplies and purchase orders.
  • Compose and edit complex memos, reports, presentations, correspondence, organizational charts and other documents as needed.
  • Assist with weekly and bi-weekly payroll.
  • Event logistics to support site events.
  • Manage resources needed for employees (uniforms, lockers, etc.).
  • Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Advanced PC proficiency in software applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Instant Messaging, and Social Media outlets
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
  • Highly diplomatic and ability to build rapport easily
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and problem solve
  • Ability to work within tight and constantly changing deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-starter able to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Experience working with manufacturing or production facilities
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce applications

The pay range for this position is $52,836 - $90,576 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
