Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Medical & Scientific LeadershipYou serve as the global medical expert for stroke care. In this role you develop, align, and execute the cross Siemens Healthineers medical affairs strategy for stroke care. You provide clinical guidance for product direction, value propositions, and innovation priorities, while ensuring medical accuracy and scientific integrity across all internal and external communications.
- Clinical EvidenceYou lead the strategy for clinical evidence generation and oversee clinical studies, research grants, and translational research initiatives. You guide the development of scientific publications at major neurology and radiology congresses. You continuously monitor evolving clinical guidelines, standards of care, and emerging competitive evidence in stroke care.
- External Engagement & KOL Management You build and sustain strong relationships with global and regional Key Opinion Leaders. You represent the organization as a scientific expert in advisory boards, symposia, and scientific exchange meetings. You help drive clinical advocacy, including guidelines and reimbursement adoption, in collaboration with clinical societies and government affairs teams. You develop and own strategy and interaction with societies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration You partner with internal stakeholders to translate unmet clinical needs into imaging and AI-driven stroke solutions. You collaborate with marketing to shape health economics, outcomes data, and value messaging. You support commercial teams through clinical education and congress support.
- Leadership & Governance You build, lead, and mentor a high-performing medical affairs team. You establish medical governance processes, including the review of promotional and non-promotional materials. You ensure full compliance with global regulations, industry codes, and company policies.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold an advanced degree in medicine, life sciences, or a related discipline (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in stroke care.
- You bring many years of senior-level experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or related roles within the MedTech or healthcare industry.
- You have clinical training or a strong background in stroke care.
- You demonstrate a strong record in evidence generation, oversight of clinical studies, and regulatory compliance.
- You possess an in-depth understanding of the MedTech product lifecycle management, clinical development pathways, and market access strategies.
- You have proven experience in stakeholder engagement, including collaborations with physicians, key opinion leaders, and scientific societies.
- You bring senior-level leadership in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with R&D, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory teams.
- You have a strong record of external scientific engagement.
- You offer extensive experience with guideline frameworks, reimbursement processes, and health economics.

- You have a proven record in building and developing high-performing teams across business lines and clinical segments.
- You demonstrate exceptional collaboration skills and excel in managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
- You communicate with clarity, confidence, and high impact in scientific and business contexts, supported by very strong English skills; German language skills are an advantage.
- You think strategically and integrate medical, scientific, and business perspectives to drive informed decision making.
