Job Role:

• Working on advanced node designs with various customers for deployment of Aprisa 3DIC place and route tool.
• Responsible for defining/verifying Aprisa 3DIC P&R product functionality, developing 3DIC flow/methodology, and engaging tool certification
• Closely working with RD for product functionality, educating field support engineer/customer for product usage, engaging with foundry/design house for tool certification/adoption

Job Requirement:

Typically requires 3 ~ 5 years of experience with mainstream tools of P&R/Physical Verification/EM/IR/Thermo/Stress in combination

Industry experience with 3DIC design or flow/methodology development

Hands on experience with 3DIC compiler or integrity tool  

Hands on experience in Physical Design (floorplan, placement, CTS and routing) and timing closure of complex blocks and/or Full Chip designs.

Hands-on experience with commercial place & route tools like Synopsys-lCC2, Cadence-lnnovus or Aprisa is a must.

Good understanding of timing, signal integrity, power and area trade-offs.

Ability to pick up new flows, learn on the job and influence QOR is a must.

Experience of tapeout or delivering designs with multiple voltage islands and top-level floor planning & chip-assembly is a plus.

TCL, Perl or Python scripting is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; good presentation skills

Good problem solving and debugging skills

Academic:

BE/B.Tech/BS in Electronics and Communication (E&C), Electrical, Telecom Engineering, or Physics.

ME/M.Tech in VLSI or Microelectronics is a plus.
