What will you do?
We are seeking a Software Engineering Specialist to join our Test Engineering (TE) Team, contributing to the development of test and automation solutions in an electronics manufacturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to work alongside an experienced engineering team, supporting production, software validation, and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software solutions using C# and TestStand.
- Debug and fix software issues in C# and TestStand.
- Validate software functionality to ensure reliability and performance.
- Assist in the development of test and automation solutions for electronics manufacturing.
- Support production and software validation processes.
- Collaborate with engineers to review and contribute to test/validation development designs.
- Implement software and hardware solutions, including hardware procurement, integration, qualification, and installation.
- Assist in creating and updating work instructions for test processes.
- Contribute to process optimization to improve development efficiency.
What will you need to succeed?
- Educational: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Core Software Engineering Expertise: Demonstrated strong proficiency in software engineering principles, with a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.
- Technical Stack :Hands-on experience with C#, TestStand, and/or MS SQL.
- Valued Experience: Practical experience with LabView or VEE code is a significant advantage.
- Agile Problem Solver: Possesses a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Eager to embrace new technologies, adapt to evolving project requirements, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $65,800 CAD - $110,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of 10% of base salary, based on Company performance metrics.
