Energy Monitoring System Engineer for Buildings
Our shared journey could take you anywhere…where would you like to go?
Energy Monitoring System Engineer for Smart Infrastructure Buildings
In the role of Energy Monitoring System Engineer you have a significant role in our energy projects and ensure that we achieve guaranteed energy savings in our customers' properties. You could say that you are the bank in our energy projects, where you set the right indoor climate in the properties, ensure that we reach calculated and agreed-upon savings, and implement the right measures in cases where we need to make adjustments.
Your days are varied; one day might start with going to the office (or logging in from home), having your morning coffee, and then connecting remotely via our superior systems to patrol, analyze, and optimize energy in our customers' connected facilities. After that, a fault report or alarm might come in that you need to act on to solve the problem. Other days, you'll have scheduled meetings with customers and then review work orders, reports, and update customer and internal documentation for the projects. You also participate in sales and marketing projects, ensuring effective follow-up and providing improvement suggestions to your sales colleagues.
Who are you?
This position suits you if you have post-secondary education in energy, HVAC, control and regulation, and several years of practical experience in a role where you've worked with control and regulation within building automation, preferably as a technician. We would like you to have been involved in energy efficiency projects and have an understanding of how temperature changes affect the climate in properties. You are also accustomed to documenting your work and have experience writing reports.
You have an interest in energy and environmental issues and want to come to a place where you both want to contribute and develop your knowledge. As a person, you have a service-minded attitude and thrive in a role with many contact surfaces, both internally and externally. Since the role involves many contacts, communication is also an important quality for you. Your working style is characterized by being proactive, structured, responsible, and you find it easy to collaborate with your team and customers.
You are fluent in a Nordic language as well as in English, both spoken and written, and have a B driver's license as travel may occur in this position.
Location may be in any of our Siemens’ offices throughout the Nordics.
