We are looking for engineering students to join the Digital Industries Automation Marketing Internship. This position will be based in Alpharetta, GA
This is a 12-week summer internship program (May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026) that is designed to help you build a diverse marketing skill set across technical content, campaign strategy, creative production, and digital engagement. You'll contribute to real marketing initiatives that drive demand generation and pipeline impact, develop proficiency in content creation and marketing automation, and explore emerging AI tools to enhance campaign performance. This internship will prepare you for entry-level marketing roles after graduation.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Contributing to diverse marketing projects, including technical, promotional, content creation, and communication strategies for Digital Industries Automation
- Conducting market analysis, benchmarking branding, and developing targeted marketing programs, proposing and refining tactics for various campaigns
- Creating compelling content, drafting copy for executive communications and newsletters, and supporting the coordination and setup of webinars, events, and trade shows
- Developing technical content for digital solutions, demos, and virtual trials, including storytelling and video production for promotional materials.
- Driving content strategy and execution for automation customers, identifying gaps, creating assets (web pages, email blasts), and managing social media engagement.
- Exploring and pilot ingAI tools and marketing optimization platforms to enhance campaign performance, analyze content success, and refine marketing automation efforts.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Rising undergraduate juniors or seniors (as of summer 2026) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related major
- Must be a student at the time of the internship and on track to graduate within one or two years after the internship (no later than May 2028)
- Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, from May 18 to August 7
- Keen interest in technology and the tech industry
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills, especially for copy writing and content creation
- Resourceful self-starters, who challenge themselves to find the most effective and efficient solutions to complex challenges
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environments
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
- Desire to have an impact on the future and contribute to the success of Siemens, our customers, and the world
- Must be willing and able to relocate to Alpharetta, GA for the summer (housing stipend and mileage reimbursement are provided if required to relocate more than 50 miles from your permanent residence)
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Skilled proficiency in content creation, copy writing, InDesign, Adobe Suite, Camtasia, and video editing tools
- Leadership roles in student organizations
- Interest in manufacturing systems or processes, or Industry 4.0

The hourly pay range for this position $27.00 - $29.00 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
