Senior Project Planner

The Role

As a Senior Project Planner, you will be part of our PMO team of 12 colleagues, where one Project Planner is currently active. You will become the expert on resource planning, scheduling, and planning tool ownership. You collaborate closely with various disciplines - from engineering and procurement to project management - and gain broad exposure across the organization.

This role goes far beyond updating schedules. You analyse, advise, identify improvements, and act as a connector across teams. You are part of the management planning team, expanding your network and stakeholder management skills every day. This position is also an excellent stepping stone towards a future management role.

Your Responsibilities

• Facilitate the resource planning process during project execution.
• Own and improve KeyedIn, including dashboards, reporting, user support, and onboarding.
• Analyse planning dashboards to identify workload peaks or resource shortages.
• Lead weekly cross functional planning sessions to align expectations and future workload.
• Serve as the first point of contact for planning tools and processes.
• Support project managers with schedule reviews, updates, and handovers.
• Perform critical path analyses and highlight risks or bottlenecks.
• Improve baseline schedule templates in collaboration with Proposal Planning.
• Enhance overall resource planning processes together with the execution teams.
• Update work instructions and contribute to training materials for planning topics.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in project planning within an EPC environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management and planning methodologies.
• Basic understanding of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction processes.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Project (must).
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI experience is a plus, including dashboard development where KeyedIn is limited.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
